Tony & Tammy Daum Find True Wealth

That all changed when the couple became independent distributors of USANA Health Sciences’ nutritional and skin-care products and quickly began to rebuild their lives. Today, they are the newest members of USANA’s Million Dollar Club, which is made up of distributors who have earned $1 million in commissions through their USANA business.

To be officially inducted into the exclusive club, Tony and Tammy took an unforgettable trip on Jan. 16 to Salt Lake City. They were treated like royalty as they arrived at USANA corporate headquarters in a stretch limousine, complete with a police escort and sword salute from members of the U.S. Marine Corps. The Daums walked down a long, red carpet to the applause of hundreds of USANA employees and spent the afternoon taking a behind-the-scenes corporate tour. They also received an official Million Dollar Club blazer and lapel pin, dined at some of Salt Lake’s finest restaurants with company executives and stayed at the luxurious 5-Star Grand America Hotel.

“Just when we thought this company couldn’t do anything more over-the-top to celebrate its Associates, they did it here,” Tony said. “We have been treated to a day of royalty, a day of celebration. It’s more then anything we could have imagined.”

Despite the luxury of their “million dollar day,” the Daums have not forgotten the challenges they had to overcome, and they now strive to help those who are facing health and financial struggles of their own. In fact, Tony and Tammy are major supporters of USANA’s charitable partner, Children’s Hunger Fund. “The more you’re blessed in this business, the greater your capacity is to bless others,” Tony said. “There are a lot of children who still need support through Children’s Hunger Fund. We’ve just begun that battle.”

The Daums say that having the time to spend with family was one of their biggest reasons for building an international home-based business. Now, they don’t have to miss any of the important moments in the lives of their children, Jacquelyn, 10, and Christian, 8. “You can create a significant income and have the freedom to be at home with your children,” Tammy said. “That’s one of the things we value the most.” The Daums have made it a goal to visit all 50 states as a family before their children graduate high school and all seven continents by the time they graduate college. They are well on their way. In 2007 alone, the family traveled every month, visiting Nevada, Arizona, North Dakota, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska and Colorado.

After much hard work, these new Million Dollar Club members view USANA as a blessing that made an incredible difference in their life. “You can’t put a price on what USANA can give you,” Tony concluded.
